Doll's father was a minor character in Murder Drones.
He was a Worker Drone who was a part of the Worker Defense Force, the husband of Yeva, and the father of Doll. Unfortunately, he was eventually murdered by Serial Designation V alongside his wife.
Appearance[]
A Worker Drone with neon-white eyes, Doll's father wore a uniform like those of the Worker Defense Force's guards. This included a green military helmet and a black jacket, with a Worker Defense Force emblem pinned on the left part of his jacket's chest. This outfit bore a similarity to that of his fellow Worker Defense Force member, Ron.
After his death, his visor can be seen cracked, implying that he was shot in the head.
Biography[]
Pre-series[]
Before the events of PILOT, both he and his wife Yeva were killed by Serial Designation V. Moments before his death, he attempted to crawl away from V and grab what appeared to be a camera which he uses to take the photo of V that Doll is seen holding in Heartbeat. His daughter, Doll, witnessed the double murder and V's taunting smile before the latter left. Doll vowed to herself to avenge her parents after the event.
This event left Doll with a permanently cracked sense of a "normal family"; she recovered her parents' corpses and set them at her dinner table as if they were still alive. When visitors arrived she made a weak attempt to cover the bodies by throwing a blanket over them. However, she was undisturbed if someone did find out - as Uzi, N, and V did.
Season 1[]
The Promening[]
When Doll returns to her home after murdering Kelsey Day, she greets her parents' corpses as if they were still alive. Robotic cockroaches were seen swarming their bodies. Later in the episode, when Lizzy asks Doll if she ever cleans her home, Doll states that her parents are "sleeping" and she "put a sheet up."
After N, V, and Uzi defeat Doll in a battle during prom, they investigate their home; N removes the cloth and the corpses of Yeva and Doll's father are revealed. V comments on how their corpses "literally didn't even taste that good."
Cabin Fever[]
Later, during the events of Cabin Fever, Khan Doorman shows Uzi a group picture of the Worker Defense Force in Camp 98.7. These included Khan himself, his wife Nori, Sarah, two unnamed members, and Doll's father and his wife Yeva. It appears that he and Yeva were close friends of Nori and Khan.
In the picture, Doll's father is anxiously curled up into a ball next to Yeva.
Trivia[]
- During Doll's flashback in Episode 3, he can be seen grabbing a Polaroid camera while being cornered by V. A flash can be heard seconds later. In the ending scene of Heartbeat, Doll can be seen holding the photo.
