"Science holding strong, sir! MATH."

―Dr. Ridley talking to Mitchell.

Overview

Dr. Ridley was a minor character in Murder Drones.

She helped to research the patch for the Absolute Solver and was killed by Cyn taking over Nori's body, as revealed in a flashback shown in "Mass Destruction".

Physical Appearance[]

She wore a white hazmat suit and red gloves paired with parts of a priest's vestment, which are the mitre and stole.

Personality[]

Being the head scientist of Cabin Fever Labs on Copper 9, Ridley was presumably quite intelligent among her fellow scientists conducting research over the Solver-infected drones. She is shown to be a firm believer in science and math with her confirmation that they were "holding strong" despite the Solver's best attempts to escape their religious-themed failsafe systems meant to contain it. She is also shown to be brave in the face of danger, as shown when she personally attempted to use the Crucifix Patch on Nori in an attempt to exorcise the Solver, only to fail and be dragged into the organic chasm after Mitchell's return.

Biography[]

Season 1[]

Mass Destruction[]

Dr. Ridley was one of the head scientists from JCJenson working on Copper 9, specifically in the underground cathedral in Cabin Fever Labs. There, Ridley and her associates would use the Worker Drones that had their code infected by the Absolute Solver as test subjects in order to better understand the program.

Despite their best attempts to contain infected drones like Nori Doorman, their efforts did little to impede the Solver's madness and bloodthirsty rampage, but she and the others did succeed in creating a computer patch designed like a crucifix that could exorcise the Solver's possession over one of its hosts.

Regardless, she failed to exorcise the possessed Nori in time and was slaughtered along with all other humans in the cathedral, except for the intern Mitchell, who would later die due to the core collapse occurring soon after this event. Ridley had previously mistook him to be her fellow scientist Dr. Chambers, who was absent for unknown reasons, due to Mitchell wearing the wrong uniform.
