Earth was the former home planet of humanity and the origin of the JCJenson corporation, as well as its drones.
After the core-collapse of Copper 9, it was believed that the rest of the human race were still living on Earth in peace by the Worker Drones still living on the exoplanet. However, it was later revealed in "Dead End" by Cyn, masquerading as Tessa Elliott, that the planet was destroyed by the eldritch program known as the Absolute Solver, thus leaving the ultimate fate of humanity unknown.
History[]
Earth was the homeworld of the humans, and by extension JCJenson. Famous and wealthy humans such as the Elliott family lived on Earth in large wealthy manors and mansions, as seen in "Home". The planet was also the site of massive Worker Drone garbage dumps (one of which Tessa Elliott loved to scavenge from), which humans would toss their destroyed and broken Worker Drone servants into when they no longer felt a need for them.
When the Absolute Solver took over Cyn as a host body, it devised a plan to massacre the attendees of the gala event at Elliott Manor. In Episode 7, it is shown that Tessa had perished sometime after the massacre.
Prior to the explosion, humanity was fighting for its survival against large numbers of Disassembly Drones. During this time, a large black hole was present in the proximity of Earth, likely having drastic effects planet and its inhabitants. The planet was eventually destroyed, purportedly by Cyn, either by the orbiting black hole or via the same thing that caused the later core collapse on Copper-9.

- In Episode 5, Cyn crushed a globe of Earth using her Absolute Solver which may have hinted to the Earth's downfall.
